
BYD Launch Event
The BYD launch event on March 20, 2024, marked a significant milestone for the introduction and promotion of the new electric vehicle (EV) brand in Greece. The Sfakianakis Group, the official distributor of BYD, presented the first three models entering the Greek market to a select audience of 250 guests, including customers, stakeholders, media representatives, institutional and political figures, and senior international executives from BYD.

Our team was responsible for adapting BYD’s global concept, “Build Your Dreams,” into a unique experience set against the backdrop of the iconic Zappeion Hall in Athens. Following strict international guidelines, we created a clean, modern, and sophisticated scenography that effectively showcased the new models while enhancing the brand’s recognition and market presence.


The setup in the Peristylion of Zappeion featured a central stage with a large LED screen, which served as the focal point for speeches and presentations delivered by executives from the Sfakianakis Group and BYD’s global leadership team. To reinforce the brand identity, we designed and installed a custom-made structure bearing the BYD logo, adding a striking visual element to the scenography.



Furthermore, specially branded mesh panels were positioned between the columns of the Peristyle. Combined with carefully curated lighting design, these panels contributed to an atmospheric and immersive ambiance that highlighted the space’s architectural elegance while integrating BYD’s distinct identity.


In the outdoor area, we strategically displayed six vehicles—two from each model—illuminated by three large-scale glowing balloons. This lighting setup created an eye-catching visual effect that emphasized the design and innovative features of the cars, capturing guests’ attention and inviting interaction with the vehicles.



The event was hosted by journalist, ms. Evy Fragkaki, and included a number of speeches and presentations by the global BYD team and the Sfakianakis team respectively.







Despite the weather challenges, the event was a resounding success, with full attendance and enthusiastic engagement from guests. The positive reactions continued beyond the event, as the launch garnered extensive coverage in local and national media, solidifying BYD’s arrival in the Greek market and generating strong interest in its innovative EV models.
