YARD, in collaboration with Phill Hills, conceived and delivered a temporary lighting artwork created exclusively for the presentation day of the new façade of the Hellenic Ministry of National Defence headquarters. The lighting intervention contributed to the articulation and nighttime identity of the building specifically for the occasion of its official unveiling.

The lighting concept was developed in close dialogue with the existing architecture and the artistic intervention of the façade itself, conceived as a work of art by the office of Kostas Varotsos. With Concept and Artistic Direction by YARD, the temporary lighting composition aimed to enhance form, materiality, and spatial presence, while fully respecting the institutional character and symbolic gravity of the site.
