"Childhood Dreams Build The Future" MINION Christmas Illumination
In November 2021, approximately 40 years after the closure of the legendary MINION department store on Pattision Avenue, one of the largest in Athens, Dimand embarked on the renovation of this iconic building. In December 2021, Dimand, in collaboration with the Municipality of Athens, extended an invitation for us to visit this historic site with a unique mission—to design, create, and execute a festive illumination.
Our objective was to infuse hope and anticipation for the Christmas holidays among the citizens of Athens. More importantly, we aimed to generate excitement around this symbolic building, evoking memories of people's youth and innocent years. The project also sought to contribute to the rebirth of Patission Avenue, breathing new life into an area that was once a major shopping center adjacent to Omonia Square.

This endeavor provided us with the opportunity to collaborate with a group of extraordinary individuals and artists, working collectively to design and illuminate this urban gem in the heart of Athens.
In the end, “Childhood Dreams Build The Future” emerged as a project that not only brightened our souls but also filled our hearts with radiance and optimism.
