Entrusted with the design and implementation of the production for the Nike Zoom Freak1 Launch's last and most intimate segment, Sepolia court and neighborhood transformed into a temple of appreciation and celebration for Giannis' remarkable success story—becoming the Birthplace of Dreams.
The overall set design drew inspiration from the urban atmosphere of the Sepolia neighborhood, reflecting the authentic Athenian vibe both inside and outside the court. The experience began with an impressive gate constructed with scaffolding installations, showcasing Giannis' life story and setting the stage for the ultimate street party.
LED screen installations around the streets displayed campaign content and live feeds from the activities, enriching the overall experience. Food trucks provided treats and soft drinks to the audience, enhancing the festive atmosphere.
The climax of the experience unfolded inside the court—a genuine celebration by Giannis dedicated to his neighborhood and the young participants in the 3X3 tournaments. Giannis shared his knowledge with the next generation of athletes, rewarded tournament winners, presented his first NIKE apparel campaign, and unveiled the Antetokounbros Academy alongside court refurbishments.
Supporting this immersive experience was not only an impressive yet minimal set design but also an engaging light show throughout the event. Three LED screens positioned at the court’s sides generated content while interacting with the screens outside, and the dynamic DJ booth, adorned with lights at the backside and facade, transformed with the beats of the music.
Culminating with the Olympus screening and Giannis’ MVP 2019 announcement, guests filled the court, joining Giannis’ favorite artists, family, and friends in a spirited celebration—the beginning of a new chapter echoing the very place where his journey started.
